Reliance Jio has announced a prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs. 251. Focused on cricket followers, this prepaid recharge plan of Reliance Jio – called the Cricket Season Pack – will offer mobile data of 102 GB or gigabytes, the telecom company said in a press release dated April 4. The recharge pack of Rs. 251 was announced by Reliance Jio along with a mobile game – ‘Jio Cricket Play Along’ and a TV show – ‘Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan LIVE’ – days ahead of the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL 11). The eleventh edition of the cricket league will be held from 7 April to May 27.
The Rs. 251 Cricket Season Pack “will allow cricket lovers to get access to their favourite live matches on mobile and stream almost every LIVE match throughout the duration of 51 days (Available at Rs. 251 only, offering 102 GB data),” Reliance Jio said.
Under the Jio Cricket Season Pack, Reliance Jio will enable subscribers to get access to live streaming of IPL matches on mobile. Reliance Jio said the customers will be able to stream “almost every live match throughout the duration of 51 days starting April 7”. This is the first-of-its-kind cricket pack launched by Jio, the telecom company said.
Reliance Jio said subscribers of its Rs. 251 prepaid recharge plan will be able to watch TV show Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan LIVE in two simple steps: download MyJio App and press play.
Currently, Reliance Jio also offers two recharge packs, priced at Rs. 198 and Rs. 349.
Reliance Jio offers 56 GB of high-speed data for a validity period of 28 days, among other benefits, under the recharge plan priced at Rs. 198. Under the recharge pack priced at Rs. 349, Reliance Jio offers 105 GB of high-speed data, among other benefits, for a validity period of 70 days, according to the telecom company’s website – jio.com.
